She left the audience with a feeling of warmth and love– love that she expresses through her beautiful art.
One can just as easily listen to the album and marvel at its textural turns and momentary innovations as they can substitute it for white noise while working at a coffee shop. Even the clarity of the production itself, at times fuzzy and at other times razor-sharp, supports this ambiguity of interest.
At times, this feels more like a conversation between friends than an EP to be released for millions to enjoy.
I don’t think my bones will ever forget that opening song which started a night of pure atmospheric allure and musical mystery.
