When it comes to Dry Cleaning’s sophomore LP, Stumpwork, the London indie-rock quartet’s mantra seems relatively simple: if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
“Crybaby” maintains the traditional Tegan and Sara electronic, indie pop sound accompanied with lyrical themes about being a young adult in a small town, breakups, and making independent choices.
The five-piece band, Bendigo Fletcher, “felt the spirit” in Cambridge Thursday night as part of their supporting role in Madison Cunningham’s The Revealer Tour.
Boston is well known for its colleges and universities designed for the musically inclined—Berklee and the New England Conservatory being two of the most prominent— but recently Northeastern has emerged nurturing the future of indie—enter Steve Kurz (he/him), also known as Keyboard Dog.
And on Monday, she released “Sunset,” a frequent feature of her live sets which finally was seen through to an official release.
