Last week marked the start of WECB.live’s Spring 2024 programming schedule!

The Milker’s have spoken, and I mostly agree; but the Grammys are either extremely predictable or completely unexpected.

This made me question who we would recognize in 30 years time as we turn on our radio (if those even make it) and drive our kids to school—who the next generation would view as music legends, immortal musicians, and artistic blueprints.

The twangy Appalachian sound used in the soundtrack of The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes has made an unprecedented impact on social media, one that is finally pulling the Appalachian genre into the mainstream music scene.

Now more than ever, a show like Samurai Champloo needs the attention it deserves, for every song, animation cell, and official art; we might not get  another chance.
