Meeting a stranger from a dating app can be dangerous. Meeting a hundred strangers in a hotel basement from a dating app is something else entirely. On March 24th, dating app Bumble teamed up with music event startup Sofar Sounds to host an anonymous “secret concert” at the Studio Allston Hotel.
Semaj McLeod, the 20-year-old concert reviewer and journalist, has produced more and more content every day due to the increase of normality within shows and branding.

The four-piece band—consisting of vocalist and guitarist Lavigne, drummer Matt Birkenholz (he/him), guitarist Jake Sabinsky (he/him) and bassist John Miller (he/him)—serves as the indie rock vessel for Lavigne’s musical self-discovery.
